Standing in Remembrance

On January 11, 2026, at the grand opening, The Aliyah Foundation honored three brave defenders of Israel by dedicating this clinic in their name, bringing healing to those traumatized by war.


Omer (Omar) Neutra

Omer Neutra, 21, a lone soldier from the United States, served as a platoon commander in the 7th Armored Brigade’s 77th Battalion of the Israel Defense Forces. On October 7, 2023, Omer courageously fought Hamas terrorists near Kibbutz Nirim during the surprise invasion launched against southern Israel.

Omer answered the call to defend the Jewish homeland out of deep conviction and purpose. He was killed in battle while protecting Israeli communities, and his body was taken into Gaza. His leadership, sacrifice, and devotion reflect the bravery of those who stand as guardians of Israel.

Oz Daniel, 19, served in the Israel Defense Forces Armored Corps as part of a tank unit defending communities along the Gaza border. During the October 7 terrorist assault, Oz engaged enemy forces while working to protect Israeli civilians and fellow soldiers.

Oz was killed during intense fighting, and his body was later taken into Gaza. Known for his humility, strong character, and deep love for his country and family, Oz represents the courage and dedication of Israel’s young generation who rose to defend their people in a moment of national crisis.

Shaked Dahan

Shaked Dahan, a soldier serving in the Israel Defense Forces, was killed while defending Israeli communities during the October 7 attacks. Shaked stood alongside fellow soldiers responding to the sudden and violent terrorist invasion targeting both military positions and civilian homes.

Shaked’s service reflects the unwavering commitment of Israel’s defenders who place themselves between terror and innocent life. His memory stands as a testament to courage, sacrifice, and the enduring strength of the people of Israel.
